The rooftop pool is a simple place to cool off, and the nighttime view is a nice extra. The gym barely qualifies as a facility, with what feels like just one piece of equipment. As for the rest, the hotel is on the main road, not beachfront, but an easy walk from the beach and nearby restaurants. There is some traffic noise at night, though it mostly fades into the background unless you're especially sensitive. The lobby looks clean and presentable, and the room was comfortable and functional, if nothing fancy. Breakfast was uneven. The choices seemed reasonable, but one weekend nearly everything had run out except salad. The coffee area and buffet refills seemed short-staffed. It may have been a one-off, but it's worth knowing about. A solid, no-frills stay in a convenient spot, though I wouldn't count on breakfast.

Breakfast was good, but housekeeping was very poor and neither the room nor hotel felt clean. The room was also damp, and I suspect there may have been a mould problem. I felt unwell during our stay. The first night at another hotel in Hue gave me a much better sleep, and I felt far better there.

We stayed five nights. The hotel is dated and could use renovation, but that didn't bother us since everything we needed was there. Breakfast was very nice, with eggs and pho (noodle soup) made fresh, plus toast and fruit. I'd recommend a rooftop swim, then enjoying the view in the evening while eating a Banh Mi.

The room was spacious and the beds comfortable, and breakfast was good. The main drawback was an unpleasant smell in the room, possibly from insect repellent sprayed shortly before I arrived. The hotel isn't quite at the usual four-star level, but for the price it was very good value. Its location makes it easy to walk along the beach or into the city center. I'd recommend it for a short stopover.

Diem Huong was so helpful and welcoming, and the service was great. I had a fantastic stay, with a comfortable room in a perfect location. Couldn't ask for more.
