For the price, it’s hard to find much to complain about. It isn’t a 5 star hotel and it’s not perfect, but I’d recommend it. Construction noise can happen, though it’s outside the hotel’s control and there’s building work all over Danang. As an early riser, it didn’t bother me. I stayed at Besea Hotel for two weeks and would gladly return. The hotel is in the heart of My An, my favorite area in Da Nang, with everything nearby and the beach a short walk away. It’s family run, and the owners are kind, positive, and ready to help with what guests need. Their laundry service was 20,000 VND per kilo, a fair price, and my clothes came back smelling great. I’d pay the small difference for the superior double room over the standard double. Thanks 👍🏼

I wasn’t expecting luxury, just basic hygiene, and this place didn’t meet that. The room felt old and rusty, the tea maker was oxidized, and there was a curtain hiding a disgusting moldy wall, just a few examples. The reception staff were kind, but it felt like they wanted money for everything. They also marked my Booking reservation as a no-show, so I couldn’t leave a review. It was late when I arrived, so I had no other option. Worst place I’ve ever stayed.

I was in Da Nang six months ago and picked this hotel. The hostess was genuinely friendly and kind to guests, and the hotel felt safe. My room was reasonably clean, though there were ants in it. They moved me to another room, and after that everything was fine. There’s a beach nearby. Overall, not bad.

I’m sure the owners are nice people, but I’d choose somewhere else if you want a good stay. At 300-350k, you can afford much better apartments. The room was in seriously poor shape, especially the furniture, beds, and toilet equipment. There was no water or toilet paper in my room. Staff were polite, but seemed not to care about me as a guest. They need to improve the service a lot before this is somewhere I’d stay.

The room smelled strongly of smoke and was dusty everywhere, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was no towel, so I had to use my own in the middle of the night. The water pressure was really weak, and there was no hair dryer. At check-in they wanted to keep my passport until I paid. Why couldn’t I just pay? No one at the hotel could speak Chinese, and the old lady had a bad attitude. They charge for water but don’t tell you. Don’t trust the other comments, and don’t go. There are plenty of good hotels at this price. The photo is misleading, too.
