Pham Gia Boutique Villa

The breakfast was good, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Old Town. I stayed four nights, and the power went out at least five separate times, though they were quick to restore it. My first room’s AC barely worked and left me sweating. After a few tries to fix it, the host moved me to a “nicer” room without charging for the upgrade. Apart from the working AC, I couldn’t tell how the rooms differed. The pool didn’t feel very relaxing since local kids seemed to use it often, but I only needed it to cool off, so it didn’t bother me much. The host arranged a private car to Da Nang airport for 320k, though I know other places offered 250k.

After moving from town to town around central Vietnam for three months, my partner and I stayed here three different times. This was easily the best place we’d stayed on our trip. Julie helped us so much and always made us feel welcome, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. The facilities were great, and the pool was just what we needed after a long day walking around. Thanks to the Pham Gia team for having us. We loved it!

Quiet spot, but still only about a 15-minute walk from the main restaurant and bar area. It’s a great budget hotel with a nice room and a good shower. The owner is friendly and engaging, and speaks wonderful English. They also offer laundry and bike rentals, so you can ride through the nearby rice paddy toward the beach. Definitely recommend.

The quiet location was the best part for us. You can relax without the bustle and noise of Hoi An’s streets, while still being a 10-minute walk from the old town center and close to plenty of restaurants. Julie, the hotel owner, was super friendly and ready to help with anything. We could easily rent bikes or motorcycles at a fair rate. The rooms were very clean, with fresh towels each day if you wanted them, and laundry was available too. We planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. Everything worked out well, and we had no problems. A straight 5/5, would recommend any time!
