I booked a night at this little hotel despite the unkind reviews, mainly because we were arriving on NYE and had run out of options. That was a big mistake, and I should have trusted the other reviewers. The room was a decent size, but it had a damp stench that made it uncomfortable to spend much time in there. At first we didn’t mind too much because we wanted to get out and explore Hoi An. After a long day walking, though, we came back to a mattress and towels that were damp, with sheets and pillows that smelled like wet clothes. The mink blanket smelled like dirty socks that hadn’t been washed in weeks. The bathroom tap was falling apart, and the AC gave off a foul smell when turned on. The power points didn’t work, there was no hairdryer or kettle, and mosquitoes attacked us all night. I strongly suggest people avoid booking here unless they want a terrible stay in this beautiful city.

The location worked so well for us, with a day market only about 30 seconds away and the night market roughly 10 minutes off. There are loads of restaurants and cute little shops nearby. The staff were very nice and spoke good English. We loved how clean and comfy the hotel was, as much as it can be.

This guest house is such good value, literally under 20 SGD. It’s right in the heart of Hoi An old town, so we didn’t have to go far to sightsee. The room was fairly clean, and both the Wi-Fi and AC worked well. I’d love to come back.

The hotel is well located, close to the ancient town, with nice staff and reservation service. It’s cheap, so you get what you pay for. The amenities only come up to a one-star level.

Great value and a really central spot, tucked between the markets and lots of cafes. It’s still far enough from the hawkers that they don’t swarm you when you step outside your room.
