The room itself was nice and the bed was comfortable, though the ceiling and bathroom showed noticeable wear. The air conditioning was weak and never cooled the room enough. Getting in was a strange experience. I stopped by twice, including around 2 p.m., and both times nobody was there. I was told staff only disappeared after 4 p.m., which didn't match what I saw. Even after I reached them on WhatsApp and was told someone would come, no one showed up. Eventually a girl rode over on a bike, photographed my passport, quickly showed me a room, and left. There was no welcome at all. If it's going to run without anyone around, they might as well make it self check-in.

The room was roomy, with a big shower and really strong water pressure, and the bed was so comfortable I slept well. The location was handy for restaurants, massage shops, and markets. I also used the electric motorbike service, which arrived within five minutes. Suong was friendly, quick to respond, and sorted out any issues fast. One thing to improve: I was on the ground floor, and the entrance door swings back without lining up with the lock. It can make a noise if it doesn't shut securely. I had a great stay at SeaForest Hotel by Haviland.

The staff were lovely, and the rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and had a very comfy bed. The TV had Netflix too. It's a great little hotel, but there isn't a lift, which makes getting around with heavy luggage or small children difficult. Some construction nearby was really loud early in the morning. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but it was still inconvenient.

Before I arrived, Ms. Suong got in touch on WhatsApp and arranged the motorbike rental I'd requested. The room looked just like the photos and was clean, and our WhatsApp messages were polite and easy. The location was great as well. I'd like to stay here again on my next visit to Da Nang.

We had our towels changed every day, and communication with the host was great. The rooms looked just like the pictures. The location was great too, across the street from the beach and beach cafes, with plenty of good food and coffee places a 3-5 minute walk away.
