The hosts are easy to reach and speak very good English, so it was simple to ask for anything. The rooms are really well equipped: there’s an air conditioner, a personal kitchen with utensils and cookware, plus towels, shampoo, shower gel, toothbrushes, and a hair dryer. The bathroom is a bit cramped, and a larger person might find their head close to the wall while sitting on the toilet. It was my first time in Da Nang and this place worked out perfectly. Dragon Bridge is close enough to walk to, along with night markets and places to eat. Grab taxis can get here easily and the street isn’t too busy with vehicles. There aren’t many convenience stores nearby, but lots of food options, including pizza 4P, where we went for something different.

I really enjoyed the homestay, especially being able to try street food across the road and still be near the city center. The owner lived in LA for more than ten years, so he understands foreign guests’ culture and way of life. He did his best to look after us, and we had a great time.

It’s handy for getting to restaurants and coffee shops on foot, and I’d happily stay here again, even for a longer stretch. The property feels modern and clean. My room was spacious and had a desk big enough to work at.

The place was affordable and I had a genuinely great stay at Sumi Home. Tam and Uyen were so warm and friendly, and helped me figure out places to eat and have fun, as well as how to get to different destinations. Even though everything here is so new, the whole experience felt professional and smooth. I’d happily come back whenever I visit Danang.
