The room setup worked well for our family of five: our two-bedroom room was spacious, had two large bathrooms, cold air conditioning, and a pleasant sea view. Breakfast was good enough for us to enjoy four days running, with plenty of choice, quick refills even when busy, and a particularly tasty waffle. The large pool suited the kids, towels were provided, and the free pickup was handy. It's right across from the beach, with lots of places to eat and spas nearby. Still, it has a way to go before I'd call it a top choice in My Khe. Staff service was inconsistent. A few were polite and helpful, especially Phuong, but several others were rude or unhelpful despite smiling. I had to wait a long time at reception for help on multiple occasions, and the daily cleaning missed a lot. They confirmed a pickup that could accommodate my bicycle box two weeks ahead, then told me three days before arrival that it wasn't possible. That was frustrating, and it only got resolved after I complained. You can also hear the beach, so late-night or early-morning events could be a problem if you're a light sleeper.

Phuong at the front desk was very polite and sorted out a last-minute mix-up easily. We stayed four nights with our 11-year-old, and we'd be happy to come back. Our room was on the 27th floor, with stunning city views that included the well-known Da Nang fireworks festival. The hotel is very conveniently placed, less than 100 meters from the beach, and breakfast had a lavish spread with plenty of options for different tastes.

My business trip to Danang ended with a very disappointing first impression. After the service we received, I'm no longer confident about returning to this property or any Wyndham franchise. One person in my group had trouble ordering in-room dining. The front desk said the menu would be in the room, but it wasn't there. He went back downstairs for help and was told to check the menu himself at the restaurant on the 3rd floor. That defeats the point of room service. My suitcase had been delivered to the hotel, but I had to ask at the front desk three times before anyone found it. The front desk and bell staff checked only the luggage room. When it wasn't there, nobody took further action or followed up, and I was left waiting. On my third visit they found it in the security room, which staff said they hadn't known about. I also felt they paid more attention to apartment customers than to hotel guests. Management didn't take ownership of the problems. The team leader didn't ask me what had happened. The Front Office Manager later apologized, but the follow-up email offered a complimentary upgrade and drink “for next time.” Given what we'd experienced, that felt inappropriate and left us more dissatisfied instead of resolving anything in a meaningful way.

At check-in, they gave us cans of soda as a compliment, then asked us to pay for them at checkout. The room itself was dirty, with what looked like dirt or mold in the bathroom. I walked barefoot from there to the bed and my feet got dirty. The air conditioner dripped, and its own display said the old filters needed replacing. The mattresses sagged, the doors didn't shut properly, and there weren't even forks or spoons in the kitchen. What's the kitchen for, then? Breakfast was dismal. The beach was dirty, with noise and parties going on from morning to night. Mobile reception was poor, and WiFi didn't work in 70% of the room. This hotel isn't serviced at all, and I couldn't see any sign of five-star quality. Avoid it at all costs.
