Ocean Suites Apartment

The grounds look good, with gardeners doing a nice job on the paths and trees. The architecture is nice, and the pool and beach are okay. Golf buggies can take us to the Golf. We stayed for three months. Most staff were really nice, but the reception team and guards at the entrance didn’t smile and acted as if we were bothering them. They seemed unwilling to work. Ha in particular never smiled during the 90 days, and gave me the impression she didn’t like foreigners. Maybe tourism isn’t the right industry for her. The entrance guards wouldn’t let Grab in, which made no sense. Maybe they wanted people to use the restaurant more, though it’s too expensive.

Our family of three adults and two kids spent three nights at the Ocean Suites, and it was a memorable stay. The two bedroom unit was large, a little aged, but everything worked as expected. Our unit was right beside the pool, which made it easy to relax there, and the in room breakfast was yummy. The staff were accommodating and took care of our little needs, especially Mr Phú. He even drove us by buggy to see friends at a nearby resort, which saved our kids a walk in the sun. We’d recommend it.

We spent three nights here on holiday, but won’t come back. The restaurant service was really bad. They said they’d send a buggy to pick us up from the restaurant near the beach, but after our meal they refused to take us back to our apartment, saying the services had different providers. I don’t know if that was true. We were the restaurant’s only customers that night, and it didn’t seem difficult for them to provide the buggy. It was cold and rainy, and we had two children, including a seven month old infant. We had no choice but to walk back to the apartment in the rain.

We had a great stay at the G4 villa after booking through Expedia. Jenny hosted us and was so sweet and caring, making sure we were comfortable. The villa was great and very clean. We definitely recommend this place! Louise & Cecile.
