It’s a calm place away from karaoke and scooter traffic, with free bikes to borrow. The homestay was very clean and sits between the beach and the old town.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We first had a room without a private bathroom, but when a better one opened up the next day, they offered us an upgrade. When our neighbors were leaving, the hosts put on a family farewell dinner with delicious Kom Ga and plenty of beer. The hotel/villa is excellent, a little outside town but cheaper. If you’re comfortable renting a bike, it’s a great option.
