Sammy Hotel

It felt like home, with comfortable beds, nice staff, and a chief who made us feel familiar and welcome. The room was well cleaned, with a large desk, lamp, and a bath you could soak in. Big windows looked down over the busy streets and people walking along the roadside, and the spot was convenient for experiencing the shopping culture. The lobby's colorful decor made the entrance feel like a great emperor's castle, with carvings of birds, nature, and a waterfall set into a garden of flowers and plants whose sweet perfume reached passersby. There was plenty of yard space for cars and buses, and we saw a Hana tour bus among them. We stayed three nights at this hotel on a hill, where the road winds upward like a snake toward an endless road. There are many stores below, counting on visitors, and the famous tourist destination Craze House is on the hill farther along. In the morning, motorcycles filled the road during rush hour, stretching onto a wider road, and cars seemed overwhelmed. We had unforgettable memories from visiting many tourist destinations and seeing places enjoyed by people from all over the world. We learned what the places were, how they were made and created, and took too many pictures in all sorts of poses to remember being there and bring ourselves new energy later. We were strangers at first, but became friends as we shared experience and knowledge during rests in coffee shops and rides to the next destination. We enjoyed one another's stories and respected them as our own. Each evening, we wandered around looking for cheap massage shops to relax our tired bodies after touring. On the day we left, everyone in our group had made something wonderful, and we wanted to say how we felt. One person started by saying goodbye, and we all said goodbye to our neighboring friends and shared ways to stay in touch: “I will talk to you on the phone. I send message on the Kakao Talk to know you are well. It is possible to meet you if you phone to me when you are in Seoul.” Everyone regretted leaving after three days and said we needed more time together. We expected to keep in touch in our home countries, but that time together ended there. As time passed after we parted, we were alone as before, and we never found where the others were living by phone or Kakao Talk. The hotel was one of the greatest, and we felt great there. Goodbye, beautiful hotel, beautiful days, kind people, and beautiful country. We were waiting for you, then we fell asleep alone.
