The owners were kind and helpful, but we spent much of the time without water. We couldn't shower or brush our teeth, and even using the toilet was very difficult. We were still charged the full price despite getting only part of what we'd booked. Several times, the family's young boy opened our room door, saw us, then slammed it shut. It usually happened while we were sleeping at noon, and the bang woke us right away. One night, around 3:30, someone tried the door. Thankfully it was locked. A few seconds later, someone rode off on a motorbike. It was really scary. With no water for much of the stay, I can't see how this could get a good rating.

The palm trees make the area really nice, but the service was poor. The AC didn't work, and the bedsheet was dirty. Even after we pointed it out, they didn't replace it.

I'd read some reviews that made me unsure about booking here. Still, after plenty of travelling, I decided to try it for my family of six and our poodle. We paid 450,000 VND a night for a room with two queen-size beds, or 1,800,000 VND for four nights in Dong Ha, which felt very reasonable. Our room was in building E, recently renovated and quite good for the price. There was plenty of space in the bedroom, living room, and bathroom, and the layout was convenient. The resort staff were friendly and enthusiastic. I wanted to leave a detailed review to support them so they can put money into improving the other buildings too.

This used to have three or four rooms in a house tucked into a palm forest, a nice setup for nature lovers and groups. Coming back a few years later, I found the place in a very different state. The rooms were run down and unfit to stay in, so I couldn't check in and had to leave. It seems to have been used heavily for long-term rentals, and it's no longer somewhere to stay. You can't inspect the rooms before checking in.
