Beautifully decorated house and bedroom, with hosts who were lovely, welcoming, and helpful. I liked the location: it's tucked far enough away that street noise isn't an issue, but restaurants, coffee shops, and a convenience store are still only 2 minutes away. The beach is nearby too, about 2 minutes by motorbike or 5 by bicycle. Amazing stay. I'd definitely recommend it and will stop there again whenever I pass through Quang Binh.

It's good value, and I'd recommend this hostel. The place looks nice and the room was decent enough. It's about a 15 minute walk into town. Service was a bit hit and miss, not bad exactly, but it felt like everything was being handled by a young guy who'd rather not be there.

I loved sitting outside and feeling the breeze when I got back after sightseeing. The homestay is cozy, beautifully designed, clean, and airy. It sits on the Bao Ninh peninsula between Nhat Le Bridge 1 and 2, close to Bao Ninh Beach 2, about 500m away, the Legend pedestrian street, and the Nhat Le River embankment. For getting around Bao Ninh and central Dong Hoi City, renting a motorbike is a good idea. The two managers are especially lovely, enthusiastic, and gentle. This was my second time in Dong Hoi, and I've fallen for the scenery and people here each time. I'll definitely return many more times to feel at home again. Staying at Coi Xay Gio Homestay really did feel just like home.

I was a bit unsure at first, but the room turned out to be even better than I expected. It was lovely, clean, and reasonably priced, and the host was very hospitable. Close to the beach, too.
