Meo Vac Valley Hotel - Hostel

I had an accident, and they still waited at my door until 2am. The service here is so good. I love Vietnam, and I love this homestay.

Dinner was an amazing BBQ set, and the corn wine was great. Breakfast may have been the best pho ga I’ve ever had. The beds were clean and comfortable, on the firm side. This is a great spot if you want a quieter stay, with mostly Vietnamese tourists on this side of the homestays and backpackers on the other. The neighbors have karaoke and more of a party atmosphere, but they’re fun and inviting. There’s a 10pm sound curfew, so it doesn’t get too bad.

After a long bike ride from Ha Giang through cold wind, rain, and mountain fog, the warm, spacious, clean room and super comfortable beds were just what we needed. Meo vac valley is a wonderful place to spend time, in a tranquil tourist village set in a scenic valley with mountain views. They offered us family dinner for a decent price, and we spent an amazing Chinese New Year with them. Karaoke and drinks after dinner, then fireworks. Unforgettable moments. I’d recommend it among the homestays in this beautiful, well-kept village.

The area gets pretty loud on weekends, with tourists singing karaoke in several places. There’s no really escaping it. The homestay itself was clean and nicely furnished, and dinner was tasty. Breakfast was a letdown, though.
