The breakfast had a good mix of Vietnamese and Western dishes, including pork Pho and traditional Vietnamese desserts. The room was clean and had a great view, and we could even see fireworks from other hotels in the evening. It felt like a lovely resort-style place near Ha Long Bay. The staff don't speak English, so using a translator would make communication easier.

Breakfast was a great buffet. The hotel is a great 5 Star place, though I'd suggest changing the Asian-style couch in the room. It wasn't comfortable to sit on for long, and the cover could use a wash now and then.

The staff were really nice, and the pools were great, though the outdoor one didn't feel comfortable. Still, a big hotel doesn't automatically make a good one. I expected more from a place calling itself 5-star. Breakfast was terrible and bland. The gym was too hot, dirty, and smelled of sweat. It says 5-star, but felt more like 3-star to me. Not everything shiny is gold. The workers are lovely, though. The hotel needs to do more to improve.

We had a special occasion to celebrate, and our first visit to Ha Long Bay was comfortable and memorable. The staff spoke fluent English and were helpful whenever we needed anything. The place was very clean, and for the price, I'd recommend the resort for its service and quality. It's a large hotel, 19 floors, with indoor and outdoor pools. The rooms are spacious, and the buffet breakfast was good. We ordered food a couple of times too. The portions were good, but the dishes tasted bland to us, though others may feel differently. When we arrived on the 7th of March, the 19th-floor bar was closed, and we hadn't seen any notice about it.

We were given a room with a bathtub, but at nearly 70, climbing in and out was too dangerous for my husband and me. We asked Miss Minh Phuong to switch us to a room with a walk-in shower. She quickly arranged the change, and we didn't have to wait long. We're so grateful for her care and wonderful service. We felt safe and slept well. This will be our first choice when staying in Vietnam. Good job, Ms Phuong.
