The staff were really friendly and helpful. They arranged our daily Halong Bay tour for 850k, a very good price, and helped book a mini bus to Ninh Bình at a good rate too. I’d suggest booking that transport at least two days ahead. You’ll need to rent a scooter for 180k per 24 hours, since there’s not much within walking distance, apart from a lovely nearby bakery with delicious coffee. The room was small but nice, with two large beds on the second floor, and the price was good.

The rooms were quiet and really nice, and breakfast was delicious. I was impressed by the Vietnamese people I met, and especially by the charm and courtesy at May House Hotel. Whatever I asked about, whether travel, shopping, or tours, someone smiling was always there to help and give advice. I finished my trip to Vietnam at May House Hotel and had already booked my last nights there. Incredible. I’d love to come back again, and for longer 😊

The room felt cozy, and the staff were friendly and spoke English well. They also helped me get a taxi. The one issue was the flies in the bathroom, there were a lot of them, even though I had no food or anything in the room.
