Paradise Grand Cruise

This felt more like an army camp than a relaxing tour. The guide clearly favored some guests over others, and the wide selection at the open buffet was tasteless. We were given a return time to the boat, but the schedule still ran late even when we arrived on time at every stop. Music on the sundeck was extremely loud, and we were constantly pushed to buy extra products and drinks. Definitely not a 5-star cruise tour.

Our room was so unclean we found fingernails in the bathroom, and the boat bedrooms were dirty and very outdated. Mr Loi was rude and unhelpful, didn't communicate, and changed our tour halfway through. He also treated his staff terribly. If you want an itinerary, beware and don't book with this company. Pay extra for quality.

Long Dragon made our Sunlight Grand Cruise trip memorable. He was the heart of it, always smiling, attentive, and passionate. He shared fascinating details about Halong Bay and kept the whole journey fun and relaxed. His professionalism, kindness, and sense of humor made it special. Thank you for everything, Long Dragon. The guide was helpful and accommodating throughout the tour, and we had a great time. Bring a reusable water bottle, since plastic bottles aren't allowed onboard, and drinks on the cruise are quite pricey. The cave was extremely crowded, with a very long queue, and we felt rushed to get back to the ship on time. Some tourists, especially a large, noisy group of Chinese visitors, cut in line, which made it less enjoyable.
