The staff were great, and a girl who spoke English very well was especially friendly. The bed was perfect, and the room had a safe box and fridge. Still, everything was so dusty, especially inside the wardrobe, and the towels were stiff with yellow stains. The water was only half warm, which made for a terrible bath. We also found roaches on the bathroom window. There was an ashtray by the elevator under a NO SMOKING sign, and somebody had smoked there. In general, though, it was a good hotel. I’d give it 2.5 :))

The staff were always there when I needed help, and their recommendation led me to some incredible local snail restaurants. That was probably the highlight of my trip, lol. This wasn’t my first time in Haiphong city, but my stay at Gallant Hotel made this visit the most memorable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thanks for having me and treating me so gallantly, just like the name. If you visit Haiphong city, this place is a must. Trust me!

A quiet place that works well for a business trip if you don’t need to be downtown. The service was very professional and the price reasonable, with more than I expected for the money. The breakfast buffet is minimal, but you can request your meal a day ahead, with door-to-door service.
