Thao Minh New Star Hotel

Service was 10/10. viet anh handled everything we needed and runs the whole hotel on her own. You can tell she works really hard to make guests' stays as lovely as possible.

I booked a room for three nights a month ahead, but when I arrived, the hotel said it had no vacancy. They could offer me just one night, even after I showed them my booking.com reservation, and said there was nothing else they could do. I suspect they deliberately gave the room to someone else for a higher price, though I can't know that for sure. I had to find another hotel, and it was the first time I'd had an experience like this. I wouldn't trust their reservation papers. They are cheaters.

The rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for us. We'd definitely come back.

Everything you might need, from massage and scooters to places to eat, is close by, and the location is great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We visited shortly after Typhoon Yagi. The building is very old and has a mouldy smell; the bathrooms are average and the showers don't work well. Get a room with a sea view, it's a must.
