I arrived at 9 PM and found 22 Housing at 48 Phan Ke Binh deserted. I was told by message to go to Kim Ma Thuong for a key, but nobody had given me the ground-floor entrance password for the original building. After getting a key from Trung, who also goes by "Mit," I had to get the entry code from another guest. The room was cramped, filthy, unbearably hot, and full of mosquitoes. The card said room 605, but that floor only had rooms 601 and 602. When I finally got hold of Trung, he brushed it off as the wrong card and said 48 Phan Ke Binh was fully booked. He blamed Agoda and the sales team, saying it wasn't his responsibility, and was rude and arrogant. When I asked for a manager, he said he was the only one available, then left me waiting half an hour in a hot hallway with mosquitoes and no apology. I found a manager's number myself and called Trang. She said she was in HeKou with a poor signal and knew nothing about the problem. She promised someone would come and sort it out and show me pictures of a replacement room, but nobody did. After more than an hour without air conditioning or even a fan, and with mosquito bites all over me, Trung came back acting aggressively and ordering us to follow him. He also lied about the company having messaged us. At 10:30 PM, exhausted, I had to take a refund just to get out of that "Japanese-style" nightmare. This was a deeply upsetting experience, and I've never encountered hospitality this toxic or unprofessional. I want compensation for the bites, heat exhaustion, lost time, and mental toll. I also want Agoda to seriously audit the 22 Housing chain. The way they treated guests, especially Trung, damages the platform's reputation.
