Aquarius Legend Hotel

The location in the middle of the old quarter was the only reason I’d give this stay even half a star. The pictures on Agoda and google reviews gave me the wrong impression. This isn’t a 4/5 star hotel. We checked in 5 h ours late, were handed keys without anyone explaining how to get to the floor, and found the room wide open when we finally got there. It felt as if someone had been using it before us. We had a superior room with no window, so ventilation was already a problem. The AC swing flap was broken and rattled whenever it was on, and there was a hole beside the unit. The TV had no Netflix, digital channels, or even analog channels. I reported it, and they said an electrician would come the next morning, but we never saw one and the TV didn’t work for the whole stay. There was hair in the bathroom when we arrived, and cleaning during the stay wasn’t up to standard. The bathroom smelled bad because of the ventilation, the room got a bad smell too from poor maintenance, and I saw ants. Aquarius grand could be an excellent property if they renovated and improved the cleaning. All the best.

My family room was spacious, clean, and just right for my family. The reception staff were really friendly, and the location is good, near lots of famous places. The street gets quiet at night ❤️ I’d recommend this hotel for a future stay in Hanoi!

The staff really make an effort to give great service, and the location is close to everything. Definitely recommend it. I’ll book again when I’m in Hanoi.

The hotel is clean and feels safe, the service is friendly, and the location is great. I left money in the shorts I sent for laundry. The hotel staff got in touch with the laundry salon, found the money, and brought it back to us. That was amazing, especially considering the economy in vietnam.
