I ended up cutting my planned two-night stay short and left after the first night. The room I was given was shockingly dirty, with hair in the sink, bathtub, and on the bed. There were cockroaches too, and a strong smell throughout the room, like fried oil or noodle soup. I asked to move, but the second room wasn't much better. Its windows looked onto a dark shaft where insects could get in, and I couldn't face sleeping there another night. Given all that, I hoped the hotel might waive the charge for the two bottles of water. It wasn't much money, but waiving it would have felt like a small courtesy.

My single room was small, but really comfortable and well maintained. It was clean and undamaged, with a fridge, AC, coffee pot, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, and microwave. The bathroom was large, and there was hot water. After walking all day, the jacuzzi tub was a real bonus. I was in room 603. There wasn't a room heater, but after soaking in the tub I didn't need one. It's near the American Center (Embassy), and the staff were friendly and spoke a little English. I stayed one night and would definitely stay there again.

The rooms and service are good value for the price, and the staff were attentive and very helpful. Just be aware that the hotel is tucked off a busy, narrow street. Getting around is fine with transportation, but walking somewhere can be difficult.

Breakfast with a view was lovely, and we thought the room was great too. Every person working here was friendly and good at their job, which isn't easy to find. We love this hotel, highly recommend it, and would definitely come back.
