I’m hoping to return to Camel City Hotel old French Quarters Hanoi in late 2025. I stayed there 3 or 4 or more times in 2016/17, back when it was family run, and remember An Pham, the young receptionist. I’m not sure if she still works there, but her knowledge, kindness, and friendly help stood out. She also booked my 2017 train trip to Da Nang and a 3-day Ha long Bay trip on a beautiful, old-style wooden sailing boat with a cabin. I’d left reviews after those earlier visits, but later noticed they were gone. I presume the hotel may have changed ownership. I used to live in HCMC and moved to Da Nang a few years ago.
