Chateau De Hanoi Boutique-hotel

The only drawback for me was the gym. It’s tiny and stuffy, even with the air con. We spent five nights here, and the hotel was quiet, comfortable, and clean, which suited me as someone sensitive to noise and my spouse, who’s a clean freak. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet worked well for my family’s taste and appetite. I also had a great aromatherapy massage.

The spa is a must try. I had the 75-minute hot stone massage, one of the best I’ve ever had. My family stayed four nights, and every night was amazing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with plenty of amenities. Staff greeted us with smiles at every hour, spoke great English, and took time to help us feel at ease. We’ll definitely be back!

The front desk staff were lovely, and the location is good. My room was nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable enough, but the AC was awful. Even with cooling on full and the temperature set as low as possible, I wouldn’t be surprised if the room was still 29 degrees Celsius. It never cooled down enough for me to sleep under the sheets.

We stayed in early April, and the staff were amazing. They made my family feel welcome, spoke Vietnamese with us, and were also proficient in English. Their restaurant recommendations were great. The rooms are small with thin walls, and our windows faced an interior wall, though the amenities were nice. The shower pressure was good, but in one room the shower was right beside the toilet, so everything was wet and using the toilet afterward was inconvenient. In our other room, the toilet and shower were separate. A glass wall would help when they’re next to each other. The showerhead and handheld bidet also need bleaching, as they had mold and calcium buildup. I couldn’t use the bidet because it didn’t look like it had been scrubbed in a while.
