Cosmos Hotel Apartment

We arrived at 10:45pm on 30th March. There were two young men at reception, but they didn't greet us and barely smiled. My partner paid for the room, and one of them returned some money. She realized she'd been short-changed. Without her saying anything, he handed over another 100k dong, as if he already knew what he'd done and how much was missing. We looked at each other in shock, and it left a sour taste for the rest of our stay. If staff can't be trusted to return the right amount, what does that say about the hotel's morals? Just sad and disappointing. In my opinion, avoid this hotel.

We found the hotel convenient because it was close to Tigit Motorbike rental. The center takes about 40 minutes to reach in traffic, though. It's a great hotel, very clean and nice, and seems quite new. I recommend it.

I left as soon as I saw the room. It had a window, but all it faced was a black brick wall, so there was no view of the outdoors. I had booked a room with an outside window and told the hotel this wasn't acceptable. They said there wasn't another room available, which meant I never got what I'd booked. The location wasn't great either, wedged between highways and busy roads. Trip.com tried to mediate after I complained, but the hotel didn't refund me. Trip.com gave me some credit instead, though I think the hotel should have refunded the cost of the wrong room.

Rosie at reception made a big difference. She was welcoming and polite every time, and always ready to help with requests. Her professionalism and warm manner made me feel valued. The hotel itself was lovely too. My room was spacious, very clean, and well kept, and getting to the city center was easy. I had a wonderful stay.
