The rooftop bar is worth going up for, the view's great. Food at the hotel was good too, and the staff are used to handling the steady flow of tourists, so they keep things organized. It's a nice city hotel in a good spot, not too far from the Old Quarter. I'd recommend staying here in Hanoi.

There's a rooftop cafe on the 14th floor, and the rooms are fairly spacious, with a bathtub in each one. It's a budget-friendly hotel with nice rooms, right in the city center and about 2 km from the Old Quarter.

The buffet was amazing, with lots of different options, and dinner was good too. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were kind and helpful with travel suggestions and reservations, and even helped me when I lost my earphones. 😊

I can't fault the staff or the cleanliness, and the room was tidy, but that's about where the good points end for me. The TV didn't work, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and condensation was bad every morning. From the 10th floor we could hear everything through the windows, and other guests were easy to hear in the corridors. I was woken at 5 a.m. by banging that sounded like someone doing DIY. The breakfast buffet also needs work, there wasn't much choice.

I liked the hotel on my second stay this month, and the rooms were good and people generally very nice. But checkout left a bad taste. They suddenly charged me for a minibar canister of chips I'd never opened, and even brought down an empty canister as “proof.” I was frustrated because I knew the seal hadn't been broken. I insisted they check the room trash and investigate properly, and only then did they admit it was a mistake and remove the charge. I don't know if room service made the error or what, but I'd suggest checking the minibar when you arrive to avoid the same headache.
