Golden Diamond Hotel

The staff were lovely and accommodating. Rooms were spacious, with comfy beds and showers that were above average. Great location too.

The reception bloke was nice, but the room had a strong black mold smell. We left without staying even one night and got no refund. Don’t book.

Music from the club downstairs went on until morning, and the room was damp and too noisy to sleep in. There was no service or even bottled water, and the rooms were bad. I booked two nights but moved out after the first. One of the worst experiences I've had. Avoid this shady place.

The receptionist was warm and really helpful, and we even paid less than expected after they gave us a discount. For a simple hotel at this price, we thought it was good value. It’s beside and above a nightclub, but the soundproofing seemed to help, and by the time we went to bed the music was quieter than in the afternoon. I can see why that might bother some people, though. The reviews are mixed, but our stay was very positive. It’s not a five-star hotel, just an affordable, basic place with very nice staff.
