Hanoi Impressive Hotel

Most city attractions are within walking distance, and the location is great, with everything you need a short walk away. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are kind and very helpful. The bathroom hose supplying the water heater leaked, but they fixed it promptly when we told them. The elevator is only a few months old and runs very smoothly. Get someone to show you how to unlock the door, since it can be tricky. Highly recommended if you’re not a fussy traveller.

The room was filthy, like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. We told them using Google Translate that we’d leave if they didn’t clean it while we were out for the day. They did a very light clean, but we said no and went somewhere else. Disgusting. It wasn’t impressive or boutique, and felt more like a knocking shop than a hotel.

The staff were unfriendly when we asked for a discount because the room was far too dirty for the high price. They didn’t speak English and wouldn’t return our passports until we paid the full amount. The room was disgusting, with cockroaches everywhere, a moldy smell in the bathroom, and no hot water in the shower. This hotel is completely overpriced, and I’d strongly recommend booking somewhere else.

My friend and I went to check in and immediately had to find another hotel. The place smelled bad, and so much was going on in the block that it was hard to even see where it was. There weren’t enough outlets for two people to charge their phones, and the curtains were stained. It didn’t feel sanitary or safe for two women, or like a place where anyone should leave their bags. This place is horrible and shouldn’t be on TRIPMASTERS LIST. It’s a disgrace for people traveling from another country or even another town.
