Hanoi Le Jardin Hotel & Spa

The rooftop bar serves lovely cocktails for about £6 each, and the rooftop pool looked inviting, though we didn’t have time to use it. Our room was spacious, with a large bathroom, and breakfast was laid out across two rooms with plenty to choose from. The hotel was a good size for us and well placed in part of the old town. Staff were attentive from arrival through the stay. I’d definitely stay here again. A touch of class amid Hanoi’s colorful, chaotic culture.

I found the spa on Google Maps and visited twice, though I didn’t stay at the hotel. The foot and body massages were both great and worth the price, and the location is very good. Most staff were nice, but I found it a bit rude when they laughed and chatted in Vietnamese during treatments. Be very clear about what you want, or you may end up with an extra service to pay for. I tried manicures and pedicures twice, and both times the lady rushed through them. It felt like she just wanted to get them done rather than do quality work. I recommend going during the day because it gets busy after 5 pm.

Joy made the service pleasant from the start of our stay right through to the end. The room was super comfortable, and breakfast was great. Really good value for the quality. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to Vietnam.

We stayed in six different places during our nine days in Vietnam (Dec 29-Jan 6), and this is the hotel we’d recommend most. The beds were cozy and warm, and had a tub. Breakfast was delightful, and the location was convenient. What stood out most was how helpful the staff were. They even booked a Vietnamese ride hailing app for our airport trip, which worked for all seven of our bags. Thanks a lot, Hanoi Le Jardin. You guys are the best.
