Hanoi Paon Hotel & Spa

The rooftop pool was great, and the view was as good as any in this wonderful city. Dylan even switched on the jets for us. Rooms were very comfortable, and breakfast was first class. We arrived very late at night and Richard gave us a brilliant, warm welcome. The excellent service continued all through our stay, with Dylan keeping us supplied with lemon tea. John at reception and Peter the doorman were very kind, as were all the staff. If I return to Hanoi, I’ll stay at the Paon!

We had a wonderful four-night stay. The pool and rooftop bar were lovely, and the rooms were spacious with great air conditioning, a welcome escape from the Hanoi heatwave. We arrived at 3am after a sleeper bus and the staff greeted us warmly with refreshing sweet tea. Dylan deserves a special mention for going above and beyond to keep us comfortable the whole time. Every hotel should have a Dylan. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in Hanoi.

Chloe, Dylan, Richard, and Peter made our time at Hanoi Paon Hotel and Spa during our Vietnam trip feel truly special. They were professional while also bringing real warmth and care to everything they did. Chloe was so friendly and caring, Dylan welcomed us enthusiastically each day, Richard was professional and always went above and beyond, and Peter had a warm, calming presence. Nothing felt like too much trouble. What stayed with us most was how attentive they were day after day. They remembered our names, chatted with us and our family, and greeted us with kind, genuine smiles. We felt welcomed as people, not just guests, and the personal touches made the hotel feel like home away from home. We left grateful for their kindness, and it made our holiday more memorable. Thank you to everyone at Hanoi Paon Hotel and Spa. We’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vietnam and can’t wait to return.

The staff let us return at night after checkout to shower upstairs before travelling on, and their hospitality left a lasting impression. The hotel’s on the edge of the old quarter, so everything was an easy walk, but our room was far enough from the traffic to stay quiet. The rooftop pool and balcony bar were great and completely quiet whenever we went up. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had a lovely stay, thanks to the incredibly kind and friendly staff.
