The hosts were really friendly, and the room worked well for our family, including a child. It’s a spacious, attractive apartment style room and felt like good value for the money. I’d recommend it to families.

This is my favorite place to stay in Hanoi. The rooms are clean and have good equipment, and they’re roomy and comfortable. Prices are very reasonable, starting at 350,000 VND.

The room was large, and the location made getting around convenient. With natural airflow it might be cool outside summer, but in the heat the air conditioner couldn’t handle such a big room. My family has young children, and although a relative checked the day before and was told a fifth-floor room was available, we were put on the seventh floor, where the sun was very hot. The electricity kept cutting in and out, leaving the room very dark. The TV was broken. I told the owner, who came to look and said to wait while he got a cable, but he never came back before we checked out. The price was affordable, but the quality didn’t match what was advertised.

There’s no front desk, so you book directly with the owner. I was quoted 260k VND per night, but ended up paying 360k VND. Get the price confirmed in a message when booking, to avoid it going up later. The hotel was okay, though it’s near a main road and the lack of soundproof windows makes it noisy. Anyone who has trouble sleeping should keep that in mind.
