La Batisse Kim Ma Hotel

The staff and service were good, but the room felt much older than the photos and had a really awful moldy smell. You can find better rooms for a similar price.

My Hanoi days are full of precious memories, and I’m grateful for the support that made the stay go smoothly. I arrived late at night at Hanoi International Airport and took a while to find the pickup driver, but the hotel manager waited until midnight to check me in. I extended my booking several times and stayed for a long time. On the last night, the hotel was full, so I needed another place; the manager realized it before I did and booked me into the nearest hotel. That meant I could stay in Hanoi without any problems. My taxi came a little early at the end, so I didn’t get to thank the manager in person, but I really appreciate it. The room was very clean, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

The room was spacious, with a big, clean bed and pillows soft enough to help me sleep well. Staff were kind and supportive, even bringing food delivery up to my room and carrying my luggage to the main street so I could catch a taxi. The hotel is in a small, quiet alley off Kim Ma st., so cars can’t drive in. The only drawback was a bit of a stink from the bathtub and faucet. Still, I had a good stay and felt it was worth the money.

For the price, this was great value. I booked through Agoda and was in my room a couple of hours later. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and two AC units kept it cool. There aren’t many outlets, but when I asked, staff brought an extension cord right away. There isn’t much of a view, though it’s quiet despite being near a busy street. I’d book here again.
