La Palm Hotel

The room was clean, well kept and good value, and breakfast had tasty options with a nice amount of variety. Staff were cheerful, friendly and greeted us warmly whenever we needed help. The hotel’s right in the heart of the Old Quarter. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

I stayed one night. The main-road location made the hotel easy to find, and the room was spacious. WiFi wasn’t working at first, but staff came up and fixed it. The reception team were friendly and gave good advice. There’s an in-house spa and massage service, and I enjoyed the massage. Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but it was fine and tasted okay. Good value for the money.

We didn’t stay at La Palm, just went there for a spa treatment during our three weeks in Vietnam. We’d had full-body massages in several towns, including some fancy places that cost far too much for what they offered. The service at La Palm hotel’s Spa was outstanding by comparison. It’s clean, the therapists know what they’re doing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had some of the best massages of our lives. You could pay more at a fancier spa, or come here for a great massage in a friendly, honest setting.

Long showers may be an issue here: the hot water runs out quickly and turns cold, which could be a problem if two people shower one after another. That matches what earlier reviews said. Otherwise, I found the hotel comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from arrival, and check-in was smooth and efficient. My room was clean and well maintained, had a full set of toiletries, and a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and was glad to find vegetarian options. Good service overall, just keep the hot water in mind.
