La Siesta Premium Hang Be

That French-inspired feel gives La Siesta Hotel a lot of character. My room and the rest of the hotel were exceptionally clean, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. The breakfast had plenty to choose from for both Asian and Western tastes. Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Linh and Ruby at reception were especially warm, and Kelvin at the rooftop gave outstanding service. They made the stay memorable. Highly recommended.

Ngan made our stay at La Siesta Premium Hotel Hang Be especially memorable. She spoke fluent English, welcomed us warmly, and shared a detailed Hanoi guide she had put together, with places to see and food recommendations. She suggested Madam Hien when we needed a dinner spot for a guest, and it was excellent and reasonably priced. She also arranged our Halong Bay cruise even though the hotel doesn't officially work with that company, and later organized our luggage transfer to the next hotel while we were on the cruise. We were even upgraded to a Royal Suite. We arrived at 9 a.m. and were offered cold towels and welcome drinks while checking in. Staff came out to help with our bags as soon as our Grab stopped. Since it was our wedding anniversary, the team decorated our room and brought us a mousse cake. The service was thoughtful from start to finish. The breakfast was one of our favorite parts. There was a salad bar, bread, hot local dishes, canapés, cakes, and homemade yogurt, plus unlimited pho and eggs ordered from the menu. The Eggs Benedict was particularly good, and the spread was so filling I often skipped lunch. We stayed three nights in a Deluxe Room. It was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the power outlets worked with most international plugs. One small drawback: the bathroom has no door or partition to keep shower water from splashing out. The hotel's French-style decor was tasteful, and it felt larger and more comfortable than many boutique hotels in Hanoi. The location made exploring easy. Hoan Kiem Lake is a short walk away, as are major sights, plenty of food options, spas, massage places, and cafés including Café Giang, Giang Mua Coffee, and Café Dinh. The rooftop sky bar had a great atmosphere, and hotel guests get a discount there. The in-house spa had excellent reviews, though we didn't get a chance to try it. We'd happily choose La Siesta Premium Hotel Hang Be again if we return to Hanoi. The location, food, and attentive service all exceeded our expectations.

At the end of our Vietnam trip, the staff at La Siesta Premium Hang Be made it our favorite hotel. When we left, everyone at reception waved goodbye, a small moment that left us with a lasting impression of Vietnamese hospitality. We'd been unsure about booking because there was no pool or gym, but the location won us over. The hotel has the essentials: a clean room, spa, restaurant, and bar. What really stood out was how the staff treated us. They went out of their way to help, from Linh quickly calling a popular restaurant when we couldn't get a last-minute reservation, to the woman with glasses at the desk, whose name we unfortunately forgot, running to get the elevator while we were carrying shopping bags. It was a special stay. Thank you, team!

I don't usually leave comments, but the staff deserve appreciation. I had an early check-in, and they tried to get a room ready for me as soon as they could. They even offered an upgrade to their newer sister hotel and took note that I wanted a quiet room. After checking out, they let me use the spa shower room even though the spa was out of service at the time. The male staff member promptly helped, carried my luggage the whole way, and brought towels I hadn't even asked for. They were so considerate and helpful. Thank you.
