Luxe Paradise Residence Nhat Chieu

The only real advantage for a family is the location, near Lotte Mall West Lake and West Lake. We'd spent about a month traveling around Vietnam, and this was by far our worst and most seriously unpleasant stay. We booked five nights at Luxe Paradise and had a terrible time. Even though we'd paid through the online platform and had a confirmation, reception couldn't find our booking. My family waited nearly two hours with nowhere to sit or put our luggage. We had to contact Trip ourselves to sort it out; thankfully, their team compensated us with a day's worth of Trip coins. Since the hotel still couldn't find the reservation in its system, we couldn't have the deluxe studio we'd booked. Instead, the room they gave us was moldy, the water didn't work properly, and the main door wouldn't close. We endured that for a night. The next day we had to keep chasing them, right up to the last few minutes, before we got the original room. It looked like the ad photos, but the bed and mattress were awful, so we slept on the sofas and floor. On checkout day, we'd packed and were ready to leave around 11:40 am. A woman from reception barged into the room and rushed us to go downstairs and check out. We wanted to leave our three suitcases at reception while we had lunch, but they refused and rudely told us to take them with us.

The studio apartments were really nice and comfortable.

A quiet street by the lake and coffee shops. The room was clean and roomy, with a soft bed, kitchen appliances, and hot water in the bathroom. Just right.

I rented for a month. The apartment itself was okay, but it was badly cleaned and far too hot on the 7th floor. Management was a letdown. There was no internet, refrigerator, or washing machine for the first weekend, and nobody cleaned. At the end, the owner was rude and didn't respond. They missed our appointment to return my deposit, then tried to charge extra for services. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
