Terrible. I arrived to check in and they hadn’t cleaned the room, leaving it as it had been used by the previous guest. That’s Hanoi hotel standards for you. I’m never coming back. Agoda hasn’t been checking service quality lately, just awful.

Two people checked in and we were given just one pair of slippers. Were we supposed to take turns wearing them? I’d asked for another pair in the morning. They said they’d bring them in the afternoon, but when I came back, it was pushed to the next day, after we would already have checked out. Later, when my family saw slippers outside and tried to take them, the female receptionist asked if we wanted to borrow them and return them the next morning. I’d already explained, but still had to point out that with all the rooms full, where were we supposed to find slippers? It felt like I was begging. I’ve never seen a hotel service attitude like that, and hers was unbearable. I’m writing this to warn others about staff like her. A male staff member eventually came out, found another pair, and sorted it out. The female receptionist’s behavior was still questionable, and she shouldn’t be working at reception.

I liked the room design. It was clean and fully furnished, with pots, a rice cooker, stove, dishes, chopsticks, and more. Families traveling together should give this place a try.
