Maison Nha - Boutique Apartment (51 QK)

We were bitten all over by mosquitoes on the first night and couldn’t sleep. Huge numbers of them were in the lobby, rooms, and elsewhere in the building. Toilet flies clustered by the elevator too. The room was moldy and the cleaning was terrible. I found mold on the kitchen cabinets, mirror frame, and bathroom panels. Calling the property mold-free is pure madness. The building may look big and nice outside, but inside was awful. The front office person and guard were so unpleasant. They watched us struggle with our luggage instead of helping. We tried the hotline for support, but nobody answered, so we moved out the next day. Avoid this property. It made our holiday ridiculous and frustrating.

The room was charming and had enough amenities. There was no mould, and the AC can provide warm heat in winter. Laundry facilities are off to the side rather than inside the apartment. Staff were friendly, and the area was great, with nice coffee shops and other places nearby. Old Hanoi is a short ride away when you want some bustle. The soap dispensers were a bit stuck, and the pillows were higher than I’d choose, though neither really affected my stay. I had a nice time and would stay again.

I’ve stayed in several Toan Tien apartments over the past couple of years, and they’ve consistently kept a high standard. Maison Nha is a great example, with excellent interior design and wonderful service from the staff, especially Ms. Nga Hoang. The location is wonderful too.

It’s a peaceful place to stay in Hanoi, with a creative design and everything tourists need. There’s a beautiful lake nearby where you can relax, and vendors selling lots of local desserts 😋. A lovely choice if you’re after a peaceful yet rewarding stay.
