Minasi Hanoioi

Even though I was traveling by myself, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service meant I never felt lonely. I stayed five nights and was well looked after the whole time. Keisha and Ashley, along with the front desk team, were kind and efficient, and room service was excellent. It was a really comfortable, enjoyable stay.

The location is a real plus: Minasi Hanoioi Lake Side Hotel is in the old town centre, a short walk from Kiêm Lake and surrounded by coffee shops, stores, and lively terraces. It’s a friendly, mid-sized place, large enough for good service without feeling too big. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms well kept. Breakfast each morning has plenty of choice, and the noodles are especially good. We organised a studytrip, and the staff made that much easier. Sarah, Eva, Keisha, Leo and Nam Do at reception were always available, proactive, and kind, whether we had questions, needed a taxi, or had some other practical issue. The breakfast team were helpful too, as were the cleaners, who greeted us each morning and were happy to answer questions. For what you get, the price is very reasonable. Recommended.

We upgraded to a Suite and found the extra cost worthwhile, especially with the additional child bed and room for the kids to move around. Minasi is clean and modern, with good service and a location near the lake. It’s a nice choice if you want to be near the old quarter without staying right in the bustle. There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance, usually around 10+ minutes away.

The staff were the best part of my visit, always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. The hotel itself was fine in general, but I don’t think it really meets 4-star standards. The facilities, room quality, and attention to detail could be better for that rating. It’s a decent place with great service, though it may disappoint if a true 4-star stay is what you’re after.
