I stayed for five nights and really enjoyed the hotel. Everyone on staff was polite and helpful, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely, with options to suit lots of nationalities. Dinner was beautifully presented, and Maya was a very confident waitress. Happy hour at the Skybar upstairs was good too. The whole bar team was excellent, especially Hillary, who cheerfully answered all our questions and made going there a pleasure.

My brother and I dropped into REX Sky Bar on a whim while visiting Hanoi, and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Hillary made us feel welcome from the start. She’s personable and attentive, and clearly cares about what she does. I ordered Old Fashions, and each one was balanced, smooth, and made with care. She also told us about the happy hour deals and checked on us regularly without hovering. She kept the mood fun, and you can tell she enjoys connecting with guests. The view is already amazing, but Hillary is what made us return several times during our stay. It’s a place I’d look forward to revisiting. If you’re in Hanoi, I recommend stopping by, and if Hillary’s working, try sitting at the bar and meeting her.

Rex hotel is a real gem in Hanoi’s old quarter. Our room was clean and nice, and the breakfast buffet had delicious food. The staff were courteous and friendly. We’d gladly recommend it to visitors exploring this fun district.

The sky bar has an amazing 360-degree view, and this little hotel is great value. It’s in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, close to beer street. The room was small but comfortable, very clean, and had everything you need. Breakfast was good too. Give it a try if you’re in Hanoi.

We kept returning to the rooftop bar every night because Hillary was such a fun, easy-to-talk-to server and mixed great cocktails. She also shared some good tips on Vietnamese. Great hotel and rooftop bar, can’t wait to come back soon!
