Sheraton Hanoi West

I was impressed by how warm and professional the team were, and I’d absolutely return. Hien helped with our luggage as soon as we arrived, then personally escorted us to the Level 24 Club Lounge for check-in. We made it just in time for cocktail service, and throughout the stay Hien kept greeting us and checking that everything was going well. Hali, Hannah, Wheein, Jenn, Phung, and Jade were all welcoming and professional. Hali recommended restaurants, arranged reservations, and coordinated with her team to make a meeting room available for my two important evening work meetings. She also made sure we knew we could ask her or her colleagues for help anytime. The spa and gym staff were friendly and helpful too, though I didn’t get their names. The spa therapist was really good.

The location is a little away from the main tourist area, but it’s quiet and works well if you have your own transport. The staff were friendly and professional, and requests were dealt with right away. The modern hotel was clean, with comfortable rooms, a simple design, and everything I needed. The bed was especially comfortable. Breakfast had a decent range, particularly the fresh options, and the buffet was quite good. The gym and pool were well maintained and not too busy. A solid choice for a comfortable Hanoi stay.

The staff were super nice and made sure we were comfortable. Our requests were dealt with right away, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was varied and tasty. Two things could be better. The check-in email was thoughtful, but it should have clarified that there are two Sheraton West hotels. We went to the wrong one and lost an hour getting to the right hotel. Also, the bath taps weren’t marked for hot and cold, and I burned my feet.

The lounge really stood out. Its staff were responsive, kept in touch by email, and managed warm conversation along with efficient help. Breakfast was extensive, especially the pho station. Evening canapés made a light supper, and the complimentary bar had local beer and a surprisingly good wine selection. Housekeeping seemed invisible until I needed something, the spa therapists relieved a month of travel tension, and the front desk officer suggested some great nearby restaurants. As a Marriott Ambassador Elite, I felt genuinely recognized from the moment I arrived at Sheraton Hanoi West. They left a handwritten welcome card and upgraded me to a huge one-bedroom suite with a large living and dining room. It was beautiful. The place feels polished but personal, and generous without being pretentious. I’ve already booked again for next month.
