The Oriental Jade Hotel

Long, who served breakfast in the buffet, was so kind and remembered our names and room number every time. The room service was great and quick, too. The breakfast was very good, and the facilities were good. Everyone was welcoming and hospitable, always opening doors for us. The location was handy, near the markets and restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I’d recommend it.

The rooftop bar and pool were great to come back to after hot days exploring Hanoi. The Oriental Jade was spotless and well maintained, with smart, comfortable rooms that were well appointed and a great location. We raised one small issue and it was dealt with right away. When we checked out, the manager came over while we waited for our taxi, thanked us, and gave us a small, thoughtful gift as an apology. That wasn’t necessary, but we really appreciated it. Problems can happen at hotels; what matters is how they’re handled, and they handled ours flawlessly. I’d happily stay there again.

The staff made this stay feel special, especially Rosie from sales, Jolene Do, and Serena. They were attentive, and even helped us adjust our dates when our travel plans shifted. The rooftop pool was a lovely place to unwind and take in the view, and our room was spotless with a very comfortable bed. We also looked forward to the buffet each morning, with its good food and plenty of variety. The hotel is in a handy part of Hanoi for exploring. We had a fantastic time and would happily stay again on a future visit.

We spent seven nights here and used the hotel as a handy base for sightseeing. The staff were so helpful, and we felt well looked after. Our room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and we really enjoyed the restaurant food. Breakfast was a nice affair too. If I'm being picky, the staff could communicate a bit better about orders.
