We won’t be back. The Osaka room is the second most expensive option for a couple, yet it sits by the road, opposite the pickleball court, and directly under the cafe, the busiest spots. The map on the fanpage gave no indication of that. Once we’d booked, there was no refund or option to switch to somewhere quieter. Noise ran from 7am to 10pm. People came to have fun, talked loudly, then left at the end of the day. The pickleball court was the worst of it, with loud play and people shouting. The map also failed to show how many noisy facilities were around the rooms. It felt like the city dropped into a forest, not a place to rest. We couldn’t nap during the day because women’s heels and kids running above us pounded on the floor over the bed. Some staff also did loud work right next to the room early in the morning, ignoring guests’ need for quiet. This place gives the illusion of being remote, but it isn’t a retreat. I suspect many of the glowing reviews come from cafe customers, whose experience affects those renting rooms. I strongly advise against renting the Osaka room.

The U Lesa team made everything easy and enjoyable. They were warm and professional, took care of our requests, and made sure we had what we needed. The food, room, and service were all thoughtfully done and genuinely impressive. The setting feels like its own little world, dreamy and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and a calming atmosphere. It was a restorative way to slow down and reconnect with nature, a fairytale-like break from the city. I loved the location and would definitely come back. This retreat deserves recognition.

We got lucky with the weather and had a refreshing little holiday. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good, though the salad sauce at dinner tasted a bit too sour to me. It’s near Noi Bai airport, around 30-40 minutes by bike.

About an hour’s drive from Hanoi, U Lesa is convenient for families and groups of friends looking for a cozy, relaxing weekend. Tucked into the mountains of Sóc Sơn, it has striking forest views, a skyline view, and lovely sunsets. Wooden cabins are the main idea, used for spa, accommodation, dining, and sports facilities. The food we ordered was good enough, and the hospitality was acceptable.
