Parking was easy to access and there was plenty of it, which isn't common in many apartment complexes. The building also has several pools and gyms, plus well-kept outdoor areas. Staff are welcoming, and the cafés and restaurants on site make meals convenient, with enough choices to keep things varied. It feels like a full-service place with what you need for comfortable, convenient living.
Winmart and plenty of convenience stores are nearby. Lots of expats live here, including Singaporeans, Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, and Westerners. I feel safe walking around even at midnight, and security patrols around the clock.
There’s a great park for residents here. With security day and night, plus lots of cafés, restaurants, and convenience stores, it’s a really good place to live.
The complex takes up a huge amount of the city, yet gives nothing back to public life. That’s unacceptable. They even cut off a public bridge to isolate the north-east side, stopping pedestrians and wasting public infrastructure paid for by the community. And there aren’t proper fire exits from the underground parking unless you have a keycard. Guests also have to take long detours that clearly weren’t part of the building’s original layout.
I stayed here before the fingerprint scanner security update. Now, if you rent short term for under three months, through a rental or Airbnb, you lose access to the gym and pool. People, foreign and local, buy places here to rent out just like they do with apartments anywhere. Banning short term rentals and Airbnb is nonsense, and management has made the area less valuable. Hopefully they come to their senses and fix this policy.
