A&EM Saigon Hotel

After my first four-star booking turned out dirty and disappointing, I needed somewhere else quickly. I was visiting from California and wanted a boutique hotel rather than a big chain, and finding A & EM Hotel felt like a blessing. The room had elegant Parisian style, and the staff let me choose between a city view and a quieter room. I'd booked an executive room but got a complimentary upgrade to a bigger one. They also dealt with my last-minute laundry quickly and efficiently. I felt genuinely looked after throughout. The rooftop pool, gym, delicious complimentary breakfast, fresh coconut by the pool each day, and afternoon tea with treats were all lovely touches. I also had a full-body massage with a Himalayan sauna and steam, followed by hair therapy with a neck and shoulder massage and facial. The spa was wonderful and absolutely worth it. I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in Ho Chi Minh City. Highly recommend!

The staff even called the airlines for me after I made a mistake with my flights, which says a lot about their customer service. With a group of 25 people on a family wedding trip, I was worried about the hotel handling all of us. We chose A&EM Saigon Hotel so we could stay together, and it was the right choice. Reception made sure all our rooms were ready, and everything was clean. My bathroom had lovely, elegant decor, the shower pressure was strong, and the air conditioning came on quickly, which mattered in the tropical heat. Breakfast had a much wider selection than the average hotel breakfast I've had in Vietnam, including hot meals, fresh fruit, and chefs making pho to order. It gets crowded around 9am, so I'd go earlier. There was also a nice rooftop pool, a gym, and a private karaoke room you can book for friends. I was especially grateful to Grace (Dung) and Hana (Hang) at reception. I got to know them during the week I stayed over Tet, and their service was world class, even compared with five-star hotels I've stayed at in Paris and Milan. Hieu, Tai, and Uyen also helped with food suggestions around the city. They handled the occasional big-group problem well, too. I've been to Vietnam six times, and this is now my favorite hotel there. I'm coming back to see family later this year and will keep booking here. Thanks to the whole A&EM team for making the trip spectacular.

I felt safe and well looked after at Hotel A@EM, with friendly, helpful staff and service that felt five-star. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. I'd recommend a suite, which includes a small kitchen and Jacuzzi. Downstairs, the hotel connects to its Japanese bar and Restaurant, a charming spot with a good selection of food and drinks. I'll come back on my next visit to Saigon.

After nine nights, the place was starting to feel like home. Every time I came in, the front desk greeted me with smiles, and they served complimentary afternoon tea and treats each day. The included breakfast was tasty, and the food and staff made it hard to choose between eating there and heading out. The location puts you right in the middle of things: Ban Thani Market is a five-minute walk, Bue Vien Walking street takes 15 minutes, and the Opera House and Capital are 10 minutes away. My room felt luxurious, and housekeeping was professional and prompt with daily service. Thanks to everyone for making my first visit memorable.
