An Dong Center Hotel

The location is great, and the staff were friendly, though they could only speak Chinese or Vietnamese. The room needs a lot of work: all the AC units need major overhauls, the lighting and venting fan throughout should be replaced, and it needs a ceiling fan. One elevator had been out of service for over a week. I stayed in Dec/17, and in my opinion it still wasn't worth even $20 a night.

I won't come back. After checking out, I realized my charger and cable were missing, so I called the hotel. They said the room service staff hadn't found anything. I had tipped the room service staff, so I was very disappointed that some of my things were gone. There were other problems too: the sink and bathtub were blocked, and a bedside drawer had come off. Breakfast was poor, and one morning staff were arguing loudly while guests were eating. There was no respect or courtesy toward people having a meal. The management was poor, and I don't trust that your belongings are safe there.

An Dong Plaza and An Dong market are right next door, so the location works well for shopping. The room is a little small but has all the facilities, and the rate is reasonable. There's also a coffee shop on the mezzanine floor. Fine for a short trip.

The WiFi is free and the internet speed is okay. I'd recommend this hotel if you're on a tight budget, but none of the staff understand English.
