Atlas Hotel & Apartment

The room smelled terrible and was moldy, with mosquitoes and bed bugs. My daughter was bitten a lot. The floor was so filthy that a wipe came back black. The elevator only goes up, and the stairs are narrow and steep. My 2-year-old daughter got mango on the bedsheets, and the cleaner told us to wash them ourselves and refused to change them. We left two nights early and offered to let them use that money to clean the sheets, but they refused, so we paid an extra 200,000 VND. The owner then showed us a video of staff going into our room and filming our belongings while we were out. He said it was for cleaning, but they never cleaned when we were away. It felt like an absolute violation of our rights. This was the worst stay we've ever had, despite traveling everywhere and staying in many hotels. Avoid at all costs.

Lina was always helpful and accommodating while I stayed there for two months after first arriving in Saigon and looking for an apartment. The location, clean rooms, and service all pleased me. I'd suggest choosing one of the larger rooms with a tiny balcony, since I didn't like the smaller ones as much. I would have stayed longer, but I wanted a bigger place and pets, so it worked out well as a short-term home while I got settled.

The room was dirty and unbearably hot because the AC was broken. I reported it right away, but the front desk seemed in no hurry to fix anything. They sent two people to check, then called to say a third person was coming to confirm the same problem. I waited another 30 minutes with no update, so I packed up, went to reception, and checked out rather than waste more time. The staff were rude and dismissive about my discomfort. When I asked for a refund, they refused without explaining, saying only that I had already checked in. I have a dispute pending with my credit card and expect a forced refund in the next couple of weeks. I travel often and have never had such a bad hotel experience. I regret staying here. The cleanliness, broken facilities, and customer service all made this a place I would advise people to avoid.
