Avanti Hotel

The rooms were reasonably clean, but the noise was a real problem. The website says the windows are soundproof, yet they seem to be single-glazed, and on the 4th floor I could hear everything. They also weren't careful with luggage storage: my bag came back covered in pen marks. Why? Did they use it as a writing surface?

There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the hotel has a restaurant downstairs too. It's very close to cho Ben thanh. I stayed for a week, and all the staff were friendly. Great hotel.

I stayed in both the Udaipur boutique and studio rooms. They looked lovely and were spotlessly clean. It's a little way from the center, but still worth it. deepak and vishal singh were so sweet and helpful the whole time. 10/10!

This is a good-value hotel in a safe area by Ben Thanh Market, with plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. The Superior Double Room was compact but clean, tidy, and odor-free, with a comfortable bed and pillows. It had a hair dryer, kettle, wifi, TV, aircon, safe, slippers, hot shower, and toiletries including liquid soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes. They also provided two bottles of water, two coffee sachets, and two tea bags. The receptionists were efficient and courteous, explaining the hotel's Do's & Don'ts. The lobby is shared with a Vietnames restaurant. Even with the hotel's 10% complimentary discount voucher, its food was expensive. I had two complaints about the room. The doors and walls are quite thin, as in most hotels in Vietnam, so sounds from the walkway came through clearly, and you could hear noise from the neighboring toilet while in yours. Also, the wash basin looks nice but is too shallow and flat. Whenever I turned on the tap, water splashed out onto the floor.
