We liked it so much that we extended our stay. The room felt new, was lovely and super clean, and had a gorgeous balcony. It was great having a little kitchen in the room as well as access to the large shared kitchen, with free tea and coffee. There are cute cafes and shops nearby in HCMC.

The local feel was a highlight, with lots of good food nearby and the river just 30 seconds away for evening walks. We felt secure behind the coded gate, and the spotless shared kitchen worked well for meals or getting some work done. The hosts were friendly, easy to reach, and quick to help. Having a washer and dryer was a big bonus. The place was spotless and really comfortable. I’ll book again next time I’m here.

We had a great three-night stay at the botanist. The entrance is on a quiet side street, and the common area was clean. Our room was spacious and well set up, with a comfortable bed, AC, a couch, and a private bathroom. There’s a washer and dryer, and lots of food and coffee shops within walking distance. Many tourist spots are walkable too.

The hosts were superb on WhatsApp, always friendly and available when we needed something, and their recommendations were great. We also got plenty of use out of the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen stayed clean and was a nice place to eat, work, or take a break from the room. The apartment complex is behind a coded gate, which made it feel secure. I loved the local neighborhood, with lots of food places and the river only a 30-second walk away. For destinations beyond the area, you’ll need a Grab bike or taxi, but both are very cheap. It can be noisy outside, though that’s HCMC. Fantastic stay, and I’ll choose it again next time I’m in town.
