The room we were moved to was a little better, but it took a strong insistence from me before the hotel acted. I had to ask by phone to speak with the manager because there was no manager on site. The whole experience left a very negative impression and affected our trip. I hope management looks at service quality in relation to the room rates, front desk attitudes, and maintenance procedures so other guests don't have the same experience. We had booked four days and three nights at a relatively high price, relying on the Agoda photos and reviews. From the first night, the room was in poor shape: damp, moldy walls, loose tiles, a slow-draining sink, and too little hot water even after the heater had been on for almost an hour. The sliding floor rail was broken and loose, and my spouse and I tripped over it several times. It was a clear safety hazard. On day two I reported everything to the front desk. They said I could switch rooms only if I left before 1 pm because “the room needs to be sold.” That felt unprofessional and disrespectful to paying guests. Staff only glued the rail temporarily, which did not fix it. On the third morning, just after we returned to the room, the receptionist knocked and asked to come in. I assumed something important had come up, but workers were let in to glue the wall tiles again without us asking. The room filled with a strong adhesive smell. When I questioned this, the receptionist was unpleasant and uncooperative.

A terrible experience. It took two hours to get checked in and into my room. I paid extra cash, then after a while the hotel demanded even more. Be careful: the business practices were very bad, and they kept money after saying they'd refund it.

The kitchen was good, though there wasn't any kitchenware. The place was clean throughout, and the staff were friendly. There's a small but lovely pool area and a nice gym. The sauna looked good, though I don't really understand what they're for in Asia 😅

The area is central, with shops, buses, and places to eat close by. The street itself was dirty, crowded, and smelly, though that's typical of many places in Saigon. We spent six nights in a clean, comfortable premium room, with hot showers and cold air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helpful.
