Cityhouse Villea

The studio was small, but we managed fine, and we ended up really enjoying our two months here. The daily cleaning, laundry twice a week, and the small gym with cardio equipment and light weights all worked well for us. Phú at reception was especially professional and helpful. We liked having the Ốc stall next door. The family running it were lovely and the food was really tasty. Lotte mart, with a California gym, was about a 10-minute walk away. The main drawback was the noise at ground level. Activity around us was loud around 2-3AM and again at 6-7AM. Still, it was a 5/5 stay for us.

Just stayed one night. It's a straightforward studio with the basics, tucked on a smaller, lower-traffic street. You can still hear plenty, so it suits you if noise doesn't bother you much.

The staff were warm and polite, and helped us with a very late check-in. The security guard opened the door for us that night. They could also arrange a scooter, though the rental cost was 1,000,000 VND, more than we saw in Hue or Hoi An, so we passed. The apartment is a couple of kilometers from downtown Saigon, and we needed Grab fairly often. It may not suit everyone, but I recommend it for people who want to get some work done while on vacation. There are better budget choices in Saigon, though. Our stay was pleasant. The AC worked well, toiletries were provided, and the room was cleaned each day. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. There was an induction stove, fridge, cutlery, hair dryer and other equipment, though we didn't use those. From the ground-floor room, we could hear tree leaves hitting the window and a little noise from upstairs. That was a minor issue.

Good value for the price, with the important appliances you need in a service apartment. Taxis may have trouble getting to the location, though motorcycles can get in without a problem.
