It’s a scam, guys. Don’t trust those third-party apps. The photos are misleading, and it feels like a trap for international guests. I booked two nights through Booking.com and paid cash, then walked straight out. Check the photos, it’s rubbish. After a long day of flights, management refunded 50%. Don’t fall for it.

The staff are sweet and nice, but the room didn’t look like the photos. It was dirty and run-down, with ruined furniture, a broken bed, and a bad smell. The bathroom smelled too.

The Booking.com photos are completely misleading. The place looked nothing like them, and the pictures seem to be taken very unrealistically. I wouldn’t stay here even on a budget. It was truly awful, worse than you can imagine. At check-in, the host kept eating dinner at reception, while their child interrupted the process and touched my belongings without permission. They made no effort to give me a good experience. The room felt centuries older than me, extremely old and dirty. There was no soap, oddly, though they did provide a toothbrush and comb. It smelled strongly of cigarettes, and nothing helped, especially with no window.

The room was very quiet, but for the price I think there are better places in Saigon for the same or less. We booked a Superior Double room through Agoda, but on arrival were told its air-conditioner was broken and the room was being repaired. Staff offered either a 100,000 VND upgrade to a Deluxe room or a free taxi to another property they own. We chose the upgrade. The Deluxe room was clean, though it didn’t really match the photos or feel deluxe :( It had a couple of windows. One opened, while the larger one had film over it that blurred the view outside. There was no hot water either. Staff said that was only for that day, but we weren’t sure whether to believe that.
